The Australian Dental Prosthetists Association Tasmania is the original Association founded by the late Rex Edwards. The Tasmanian Branch celebrated the 50th Anniversary of the passage of Tasmanian Legislation enabling Dental Prosthetists (formerly known as dental mechanics) to work directly with the public on the 6th December 2007.
Tasmania takes great pride in being the initiators of the sweeping changes in legislation across Australia that enabled Dental Prosthetists in all states to provide dental prosthetic services directly to the public.
Tasmania, Australia’s island state is steeped in a rich heritage of events and people that have shaped the world we live in today. From its dark convict past Tasmania has become the home of innovation leading to a world first in dental technology. In 1957 laws were changed here first to allow patients direct access to our experience which ensures you receive expert care and attention on the full range of denture services when you visit the country’s most experienced Dental Prosthetists.
Our members cover most major cities, and towns meaning care is not far away. Make a phone call today and receive prompt attention for all your denture needs.
