Mr. John Rogan

President

John has been a Board member since 1991. He has held various positions, including two terms on the former Dental Technicians Licensing Committee, R.M.I.T Course Advisory Committee, and the former Dental Practice Board of Victoria Prosthetist Advisory Committee. He has also held positions on this board and has been President of the Australian Dental Prosthetist Association (Victoria) since the year 2000. John was elected national President in August 2009

Mr. Dayle Hutchinson

Deputy President

Dayle joined the Board in May 1998. He represents the country and rural Dental Prosthetists, his practice and home is in Ballarat. Dayle's main interest is the further education of Dental Prosthetists and mentoring younger members to take active roles in the profession

Mr. Dominic Di Luca

Treasurer

Dominic has been an active Director since 1992. Initially Dominic created and maintained the original association website along with automating the office and sometimes helps with the technology side of the association. Dominic is an active clinician and is committed to continual development of standards and ethics within the industry.

Ms Michelle Azzopardi

Director

Michelle has have had 23 years experience in dentistry and since 2003 she have been in partnership in a Dental Clinic which includes seven dentists and seven staff of dental technicians and dental assistants. Michelle holds two Diplomas of Oral Health Therapy from the University of Melbourne in both Hygiene & Therapy and has been a Dental Prosthetists since 2007. Michelle’s vision for the dental profession of the future sees dentists and dental auxiliaries of all varieties providing oral health care to our communities as a confident respectful team which may then leak into other professional networks. She believes that pro-activity is needed to facilitate change

Mr Mark Deklijn

Director

Mark became a director in November due to an unexpected vacancy occurring and was elected a director at the 2010 AGM. Mark qualified as a dental prosthetist in 1988 and has his own practice where he also operates a small commercial laboratory. Throughout his long career has seen many changes within the profession and is passionate about the future of the profession both in the short and long terms.

Mr Ryan Davies

Director

Ryan was initially elected to the Board in 2007 by the Students at RMIT as their representative. After undertaking the Associate Diploma in Dental Prosthetics at RMIT he was elected as a director and works with his father Bill Davies, a member from Ballarat.

George Iliopoulos

Director

Ms. Olga Tsibidis

Director

Olga has been in the dental industry for 26 years, specialising in Crown & Bridge (Ceramics) and has managed the laboratory for the past 16 years. She recently completed the Advanced Diploma of Dental Prosthetics at RMIT. Olga has undergone courses in Australia, USA, Europe and Japan to enhance her skills and has also lectured in Australia and Europe. At present is on the RMIT Auxiliaries Program Advisory Committee and is a part time teacher at RMIT

Kevin Rafferty

Director

Kevin is the Senior Educator/Coordinator for Dental Technology Programs at Holmesglen Institute of TAFE.

Kevin has been a Dental Prosthetist for 27 years and still has a practice in Box Hill. He has always been keen on continuous professional development and has completed numerous courses. He hopes that with his teaching qualifications he can assist the Association in expanding the CPD program.

Stefanie Dekovic

Director

Stefanie was elected to the Board of Directors in 2011 by the students at RMIT; as their representative.

Under the Constitution, one member is elected by the students to represent their interests.

Stefanie is currently undertaking the first year of the Advanced Diploma of Dental Prosthetics.
